When Jim and I went exploring, I just had to take some pics of these lovely homes in Norfolk and Virginia Beach.
On our way home, this pink house caught the corner of my eye and I had my husband make a U-turn so I can take this picture!!

Our trip to see my family was incredible to say the least! Beginning with our Easter Sunday with my uncle and aunt to our last day on the beach, it was very special and I am very grateful. Marlies, you are an awesome cook! Everytime we get together your kind smile and wonderful meals never dissappoint. By the way, you must give me the recipe for the ribs my darling. I'll try my best to do them justice and I will post your recipe on my blog as well. Thanks again for your southern hospitality, it meant so much... Uncle Frank, you are " the best "!!! I love all your stories, your optimism, your generosity, and your love. You are in my heart and I am so happy that you are my uncle. Jim had a wonderful time talking about history and very much enjoyed hearing about your service in the Navy. Tara and Tasha think that you are just the sweetest guy ever and love you very much. Thank you for the tour of the amphibious carrier, as well as seeing the USS Albany. That is a memory I'll never forget, one of many to come I'm sure. Til, the next time~ Love, your niece Stephanie
