As I ponder about my love story, of how I came to meet my prince charming, it brings me back to a romantic place and time, we met in a parking lot in Gilroy California in 1989. Although we were quite young, age twenty-one and twenty-six, I know we were meant to be because I didn't care to fix. He was just perfect you see, all six feet and four inches exact, his goofiness attracted me but it was his heart that took care of that. Prince Charming gave me two healthy babies, for that I am truly blessed, he can be a little absent minded, but he's better than the rest. We'll be married twenty years this October, the years how they've gone by, I simply can't imagine my life with any other guy...
Happy Valentines Day honey~ Yours forever~
Prince charming and I in Daytona, Florida at Caribbean Jacks
And now for some valentine eye candy and some sewing and crafting projects I've made...
These lil hearts I hand sewed and embroidered for the children I care for.
I crafted this out of a recycled valentine candy box, pink tulle, chipboard letters, and I'm sure you probably recognize the pattern of lovely paper right! All I did was make a photocopy of the " queen's " infamous vintage wildflower pattern. I do hope that you get a chance to check out my October's post on meeting "The Queen Of Shabby Chic". I still can't believe I actually had the honor to meet such a lovely woman!
I sewed this child -sized apron out of flannel fabric several years ago for my daycare children, I also sewed a matching headband as well. They love putting this on and pretend to be a waitress waiting on their customers. Remember those days when you were so carefree and imaginative?
My family holds the key to my heart like no other...
I do thank you kindly for dropping in to visit, and I also hope that you are as loved as I am, because I really do have a wonderful life, as the great Frank Capra would say!!!!
