Stephanie

  • Hello and welcome to my blog~ The Spanish Dahlia. I am a devoted wife, mother of two beautiful daughter's, and a a simple old fashioned romantic. I live in a beautiful Cape Cod home that has been styled by me with my eye for classic shabby chic antiques and white comfy casual slipcovered furnishings. My husband is a big part of my passions and hobbies, and is always building me the next project I throw at him. We make a great team because I am the brains and he is my brawn! Hope you leave my blog feeling like you came to your "happy place" and will come back again. Thanks so much for visiting and may you be as blessed as I am. Hugs~ Stephanie

Stephanie, you have such a gift for creating beauty! Every single little detail of your home is exquisite. There's not a single thing that I don't absolutely love about it!

I have to ask you this though, which I asked Tausha a while back...how do deal with the "not so pretty" things, like big screen t.v.s, dvd players, cords etc. Since my hubby's so great about all my girly stuff, I won't deprive him of his big flat screen but I struggle with how to make that area look appealing!

Love so much the Christmas tour you offer us ! wonderful and dreamy moment just looking at your pretties... Love the RA fabric . Here in France so difficult to find fabric looking shabby !

Hi Victoria dear!

Thank you soooooo much sweetie! As far as my tv, stereo equipment and all the unsightly stuff goes, I have an armoire that our things go into. I don't like looking at that stuff when not in use at all. I would suggest compromising on an armoire for sure! I know what you mean though... My husband is very manly but he also wants me to be happy as long as I don't paint any walls or doors PINK !!!! LOL ! I would never go that far anyway. However, I did tell him just today that I'm going to paint the stair steps white and do some wallpapering on one of the walls and he's ok with that!!!! Thank goodness, whooo! I LOVE it when I get my way, don't you!!!! Good luck and let me know how it all works out.
