Jim and his twin brother Mike spent half their 50th birthday fishing on the Carribean ocean. I later found out that Jim almost ended up swimming with a four foot shark !!!

The guys returned from an amazing day of fishing, and opened their presents at the pool. The t-shirts are a gift from me. Jim's t-shirt reads~ LAZY BUT TALENTED. Mike's reads ~ DON'T SWEAT MY SWAG. Get ready for the next picture and please.... Try NOT to laugh!!!!!
Ha!!!!! Ha!!! Ha !!!! These anchor and double star speedos were a gag gift from Mike's wife Kim for their 50th !!! Fortunately the guys appeased Kim's request to put them on and wear them in the kitty pool at the resort !!!!! This was absolutely hilarious and Kim and I had the best time getting many chuckles at the many pictures we both took!!! We couldn't wait to show these pictures to our kids to see the looks on their faces too !!! Thank goodness our guy's are very good sports about this !!!

The white wooden rosary I bought for myself in the Dominican Republic. I also bought a beautiful bracelet that unforunately is in need of repair already. Jim and I also brought back Dominican Rum called ~ Mama Juana. NOT to be confused with anything thing else!!!!! We had a couple celebratory rum shots at the bar we went to, and it was very good! This tripto the the Dominican was absolutely fabulous!!! The weather was nice and hot, the Dominican culture and people are very nice and very beautiful! The food was absolutely superb, the ocean was as warm as bathwater, and overall we felt like we were living in PARADISE !!! The guys had a spectacular 50th birthday and so did Kim and I. This was our very first time coming to Puerta Plata and our first stay at the Hotel Tropical resort through our Timeshare. The only negatives were, not being able to drink the water and our floor was having plumbing problems so that meant we all took COLD showers for the first three days we were there. Very invigorating I must say !!!! Also, because of that inconvienience, the resort upgraded our room which was even more beautiful and with those pool and ocean views you saw. Well, I'm home sweet home, trying to acclimate to 25 degree weather and snow ! It's quite a shock to your mind, body, and soul, but I'm happy to be back with my family and happy to sleep in my own comfy bed!

You are just the CUTEST thing, girlie! And you and Jim are just the most adorable couple! :) I even had to show Rog how sweet you two are (so that he'll recognize you when we meet up. lol!). I'm so glad that you all had such a wonderful time at that gorgeous villa! Sunshine on your shoulders, sand in your pants, and the ocean singing you to sleep. Heeeeaaaaven on earth!!!!
