Hi there! After a very stressful and horrible week's event in Boston and in Texas, you 'll be able to ease some of the burden by looking at some pretties I've aquired and have been working on lately. The story behind the beanbag all began a while ago when I first saw Rachel Ashwell's beautiful beanbags come out a few month's ago. I am fortunate enough to have befriended a lovely and very talented lady by the name of Rhoada Smith out of Casadaga, New York. We met through Facebook last year and have been friends ever since! For those of you who have seen her beautiful sewing creations, you already know what fine work she does. So, a while back I decided to ask her if she could sew me a beanbag with some fabric of mine and thankfully she happily agreed. Long story short, we both decided rather than paying for eachother's goods, we would trade eachother's talents! So here is my beautiful beanbag, made from a vintage Simply Shabby Chic queen size duvet I bought several years back for a song! Isn't it gorgeous? Im so beyond thrilled with it so much I've already asked and sent more fabric to have her make me another beanbag!!!! If anyone s interested in having one made, please email me or drop a message on my comments and I'll help you get in contact with her.
Enjoy the other pics of my "prom dress painting" and my ruffled round pillow I sewed.
Hope you enjoyed some shabby romantic eyecandy and hopefully with God's help, our country can be healed from so much tragedy. Thanks again for taking the time to pop in. It really means alot to me.
Have a lovely weekend and God bless you,
XOXO ~ Steph
