Last Saturday a couple lovely friends of mine and I went to the " Country Living Show " in Rhinebeck, New York. I bought this pillow, some antique lace napkins, a cowboy hat, and couple other small things. Had a lovely time and especially hanging with the girls is always fun !!!!
Found these simple jars that the people I bought it from made at the show too.
Yes, as you can imagine, all these peonies came from my gardens. I really went to town cutiing all of them considering the massive amounts of rain weve been having. UGH !
Last one for now..... I'll save some others for the next post !
Hope everyone is happy and healthy! Sorry it took so long to post again, but Ive been a patient little gardener..... Waiting for my beloved peonies to begin their magic! Hopefully it was worth the wait ! So did you all see what Jim and I have been working so hard at lately? Still not comepletely done yet. Have one more wall to finish, then we'll be done in the livingroom. We managed to deal with cold rainy weather, dusty and dirty conditions, ( some squabbling) because I wasn't to thrilled about all the dust the old walls were going to kick up!!!! And other things like hot and humid weather too ! But all in all, now as I look at it, I must declare I am one HAPPY WIFE !!!! Jim outdid himself on this one !!!! These wood pine panels are so perfect for the look I was envisioning. It really adds a warmth and light that wasnt there before. I'm also digging my brand new window with lovely framing around it. Just lovely I must say....
That's it for now friends, hope you loved the tour and we'll see you soon.
