through!!!!! Feels like forever since my last post, but between all the torrential rains, heat and humid days,
garden weeding, and major house projects, I haven't had as much time as I'd like right now to share my love of taking pictures with you. Hope you enjoy what have for you and thanks so much for dropping in for a visit. You are all so kind and it means so much to hear from you !
This beautiful hand crafted mug I bought from one of thee most kind hearted and amazing women I've become friends with on Instagram., named Laura Venosa Dellaporta of " Verbena Nested Treasures ". Her Etsy shop is named ~ APIECEOFVINTAGE. She hand crafts, paints, sews, as well as a multitude of other talents . Her passion and heart is evident through her art ! Laura also has a heart as " big as Texas". Her motto on her site, blog, and business cards say, " Inspire, Create, Give." Don't you love that ! Thank you so very much Laura, you are a rare gem my dear friend.
The two wine bottles shown here were given to me from Tracie Truran of My Petite Maison and Marcia Chunn of Vintagefrenchhen.blogspot.com. These women are super kind, talented, and I'm so very blessed to have know them. You sent me these gifts out of the goodness of your own heart's, and I am so grateful for that. Thank you so much, and very much agree with " paying it forward."
A vintage embroidered pillow I found in my basement
I found two Syroco candle sconces at a local yard sale for one dollar and decided to paint it and put a handsewn lace lamshade I made over it. I also overdyed the pink lace shade slip to drape over it. I will be selling these in my Etsy shop soon, however it is a custom order and will take one week to make, so let me know if you want one. They are one of a kind because I use vintage fabrics, handsew and overdye some of the fabric. The price would be $ 4o.00 for the lace shade and the overdyed lamp slipcover.
My photoshoot of Tasha in early spring. Love taking pictures of my beautiful girls !
It was so hard to choose some of my faves because I took so many pictures of my beauty !!!!
Last pic for you ! This table I picked up at my favorite consignment store once again. It is vintage and was once used as a potting table for gardening purposes. It did have a greenish grey paint on it and I thought it needed a little help. So I painted it white and distressed it to my shabby and chic liking. I 'll definately have fun with dolling up this piece and will also use it as an extra worktable and dinner table for parties. Jim says he needs to tweak it here and there and then it will be all done !!!!
Hope you enjoyed your 4th of July weeknd and that your heart is blessed my friends ~
