Hellllllooooooooo friends !!!! Yes , it's me !!!! I'm still here as busy as ever but had a few spare moments to share what I've been up to. Every year in August the quaint country farm town called Madison Boukville holds an antique show that my husband and I have been attending for at least 10 years. This year we had to go on the last day because we had no other time to go. I really wasn't sure if I'd have any luck. But as you'll soon see, I did !!!!
I also have been taking pictures of my daughter's for many years as well. This time I chose one of our favorite parks here in New York called Thatcher Park. This park is extra special because this was our beloved dog Tino's favorite place to hike with daddy. Ironically, we were also there during his 2 year anniversary that he passed. We definately feel his soul while there and it's very comforting. The girl's and I had a wonderful time and I'm very proud of being able to capture and share their lovliness.
The vintage hat on the chair, the florentine box, and the green and gold tray are all Madison Boukville treasures.
The antique purple transferware pitcher is a Madison Boukville find too.
Mixture of Walmart roses, my garden lavender, carnations, and my David Austin's called Wedgewood roses.
I have been on the hunt for a " lucky elephant" for a long time now and finally found one ! I love the fact that it's a pincushion too, so cute !
My livingroom area. Love my Rachel Pallas crown veils and adore her as a person too !
Finding this antique hat was such a find !!!!! There is so much fine workmanship that went into creating this beauty. If anyone know's more info about this can you please let me know? I'd appreciate that very much ! I don't think I've ever come across something so beautiful !
Another vintage hat
Love it !
"My Thatcher Park Photo Shoot "
One of my all time favorite pictures I took. I love this one so much I had a 24 X 36 black and white canvas made of this shot.
So very proud of my beautiful daughter's ! There's no other stronger bond created in the world is there?
I hope and pray that you all are well and your lives are full of many precious moments. Things will begin to slow down for me, once school begins at the end of the first week of September. I will have more time to devote to my other loves, one being clay sculpture. I am just chomping at the bit to create some lovely treasures will will one day be future heirlooms. I will also be sharing my new pretties from my very quick shopping visit to Rachel Ashwell Shabby Chic Couture this past Saturday. Hopefully the sun will come out so I can take a few snaps and you'll see them on my next post !!!!
Have a lovely week and thanks so much for visiting. I am so sorry I have not replied to some of your comments, I just have had an overload of work and home projects this summer!!!!! So many wonderful things have happened to me and I can't wait to share with you all at the right time.
Know how much it means that you love my blog !!!!!!!
